According to event organizer, David Hoel, this year's event was the 27th annual New Brighton Mounds View Rotary Club Easter Egg Hunt.  Children, from six months through seven years old, only needed 48 seconds to pick up  four thousand five hundred plastic eggs filled with jelly beans and prize tickets.  Some lucky older kids even found dollar bills in their eggs.  Despite chilly weather, the turnout was estimated to be about 1,200 people, and everyone's hearts were warmed by the smiles of the happy children.  As in previous years, the twin Easter bunnies made time in their busy schedules to show up and get hugs from the kids and pose for photos.  Thanks to all who helped to make this year's event a big success!
