Started over 30 years ago on February 22, 1979, the New Brighton-Mounds View Rotary Club has supported our local community, our national community and international communities. We have created thousands of friendships. We have touched lives of families in need and been there to rebuild communities in the face of natural disasters. We have worked with youth through mentor programs and changed lives. The New Brighton-Mounds View Rotary club supports global humanitarian projects via the Rotary Foundation.  Eradicating polio has been the highest priority and most successful program of the Foundation  Since 1985 Rotary clubs around the world have contributed more than $3 billion and reduced the incidence of polio by more than 99%

Each year the club sponsors an annual Easter Egg Hunt in New Brighton, awards three $1500 scholarships to local graduating high school seniors, and provides significant financial and leadership support to Community Partners for Youth (CPY),  CEEP and other local non-profits focused on meeting the needs of people.  In addition the club conducts an annual food drive for the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf and provides over 1000 hot dogs, chips and beverages for New Brighton Stock Yard Days parade participants  Over the past ten years the club has contributed approximately $282,000.00 to scholarships, plus various local and international projects.

Over these 30+ years hundreds of members have enjoyed weekly lunch meetings and social events. Rotary is about fellowship, and the friendships and business relationships that have developed have been countless. We hope our members past and present will continue to document and build this history section of the site with photos and stories.
