Our Fourth Grade Foresters Tree Give-Away was a great success once again.  In recognition of  Arbor Day, nine New Brighton Mounds View Rotarians visited fourth grade classes at Bel-Air, Valentine Hills and Pinewood Elementary Schools to talk with students about the value of trees to us and our environment.  We had a great time talking with the students and we were impressed with the level of knowledge and interest shown by the students.  At the end of the visits we distributed evergreen saplings to each of nearly 400 students.  Rotarian presenters were: Jeff Benson, Mark Lampman, Glenna Dibrell, MaryAnnn Bawden, Tim Roche, Cor Wilson, Val Johnson Amy Wakem and new member Rajiv Garg.  Many thanks to Amy Wakem for organizing another successful event.
